Biodegradable and Compostable Transparent Thermoplastic Compound for Extrusion Process

The Biofilm 3055 LR is a biodegradable and compostable thermoplastic compound suitable for the extrusion process. It is a high-clarity product with a significantly higher level of rigidity compared to previous products.

Thanks to its elevated rigidity, Biofilm 3085 LR is compatible for the production of rigid films as well as the manufacturing of bottles, trays, and more. Another notable characteristic is its high carbon content from renewable sources, making it an extremely eco-friendly material.

Like all products in the Biofilm line, it is certified according to the UNI EN 13432:2002 standard, ensuring compliance with rigorous biodegradability and compostability criteria.

Biodegradability and Compostability Certifications

All grades are certified according to the main European and international standards by Certification Bodies. These certifications guarantee biodegradation in various disposal environments: industrial composting, home composting, and soil biodegradation.
